Posted: July 20, 2010 by tenturtles in general

Featuring Guante, Heidi Barton Stink, Kaoz, Fresh Squeeze, Diagram of Truth, DJ Optimus Prime, special surprise guests, dancing, gender-neutral bathrooms, poetry, cold drinks, information, outformation, more!

This is an event that switches up venues and brings together great crowds to enjoy music and traverse social justice movements.  Two Avengers, rapper Heidi Barton Stink and Haven of DJ Optimus Prime, will be adding to the entertainment.

Friday, July 23 at 10:30pm
Location: Bedlam Theatre, 1501 S. 6th Street in the West Bank, http://www.bedlamtheatre.org

$5 cover, 18 and up

The Twin Cities Avengers are the official sponsors of the evening.  There will be an auction of skills, services and items, from how to brew kombucha to queer haircuts.  The proceeds from the evening go to support Camp Trans [www.camp-trans.org], an event for transgender people and their allies that creates radical community through trainings, music and camping.

It’s important to note that the beloved and radical Bedlam Theatre will be closing in early September in its current incarnation.  Your time to enjoy this incredible community space such as it is, is coming to an end.  Join us, celebrate this space and help recreate it!
